Instructors 

Sue Vicchrilli, COT, OCS, OCSR is the Academy’s director of coding and reimbursement. Her experience in ophthalmology includes coding, reimbursement, practice management and clinical and surgical assistance. She is the content director for the Academy's entire line of coding products, including the Ophthalmic Coding Specialist Retina Exam, and recipient of the Academy's Achievement Award and IJCAHPO Statesmanship Award.

 

 

 

 
John Haley, MD, OCS is a contributor and will participate in emailed Q&A. Dr. Haley has been in practice in Garland, Texas since 1976 and is a past president of the TOA. He is a board-certified ophthalmologist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He has been chairman of the TOA Third Party Liaison Committee for over 25 years and represents TOA on the Medicare Contractor Advisory Committee. Dr Haley serves on the Academy CPT Committee and has been on the Academy Health Policy Committee since its inception. We are fortunate to have this physician's perspective at Codequest.

Designation Statement
The American Academy of Ophthalmology designates this enduring material for a maximum of 4 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

IJCAHPO CE Credits
Ophthalmic allied health professionals receive 4.0 IJCAHPO Group “A” CE Credits for completion of this course. A quiz is required to obtain IJCAHPO CEU for enduring material. The passing grade is 80%.
